    No, no WAR even consider they need more when they are already the king of mitigation right now. They need offensive OGCDs as they have the lowest APM of all the tanks. It would help spice up the worst tank when it comes to 'downtime'.

    Nascent flash is my biggest gripe. I dont want party requirement on it.

    Next is probably conal aoe on over power and how unfun it is.

    Mythril tempest not applying eye is also terrible.

    Last is onslaught costing rage. I still wish it didn't...

    1. Sounds good, so long as you can still somehow affect a party member with it after using it on yourself.
    2. Why? It has superior reach. If referring to the general inability to hit 100% of mobs when in massive pulls of large enemies, feel free to visit the "do already giant mobs really need to be three shoulder widths' at the expense of AoEing?" thread if you hate feeling what every target AoE class feels.
    3. Is it though? It feels like we're already pretty well balanced for AoE around not getting Eye, and it's not hard to build mid-gather using Onslaught and Provoke to grab the mobs between.
    4. Okay. So, where are you going to extract that added nearly 600 ppm from? Because that's a lot more than Warrior needs in order to achieve GNB rDPS.

    I actually love nascent flash in a party setting even though its clunky to use. The heals feel great and i love the aura animation. It just kind of sucks not being able to use it as a mini bloodbath when you're soloing or on the off chance your party members died.

    On a tangent, its gawd awful in frontlines pvp because of the party requirement and wars effectively having zero heals outside of it. 3 step gauge combo is useless in pvp and therefore stormspath might as well not even exist. Heck. The ENTIRE 3 step combo might as well not even exist for wars in pvp.

    Ughh... I'll stop ranting on tangent... But if they dont majorly overhaul wars in pvp I'm done with pvp.

    Pve, i think we're just a few qol changes away from being pretty much perfect.

    Nascent flash to 10 would be nice. Theyd obviously have to nerf the healing and mitigation.

    What I really want is for the target requirement to just be gone.

    I mean sure there are a few WARs that say that but...
    most seasoned WARs and tanks for that matter I talk with say WAR is anything but perfect, in fact it might be one of the worst. APM is the lowest among all tanks by a significant degree. The fact the job grinds to a screeching halt when IR is on cooldown. Its designed to be a MT when in raiding or any end game fight now, there are basically no MTs anymore instead you need to swap between tanks resulting in a significant drop in the strengths of WAR when that happens. Then there is IR... the biggest mistake SE made was the removal of beserk to fuse with IR giving it Crt/DH. This 'buff' killed the synergy with pary buffs in ShB after Mnk brotherhood changed resulting in a skill that actually drops off badly if you are running certain comps. *cough* DRG/BRD *cough* Not only that but it nearly killed the complexity of the job to only have the strength of being the best stance dancing tank with Holmgang. Now? There is no stance dancing, and holmgang isn't very special anymore since the devs are now designing fights with holmgang in mind so it can't cheese mechanics anymore as easily.

    These both seem just so... wrong, unless your goal is to worsen the job.

    6% mitigation over 10 seconds, for instance =/= 10% mitigation over 6. Damage intake is not a constant stream, and 10% is already dangerously close to irrelevant. And, important to your lifesteal, neither is damage output constant or unvaried. 25% of a FC, IC, FC is worth a whole lot more than 12.5% of a FC, IC, FC, and SP combo.

    I mean, just consider -- would you rather have Vengeance or 30 seconds of 10% mitigation? Would you rather have No Mercy over 15 seconds, just long enough to fit with your other burst CDs, or halved in effect but extended to 30 seconds? I would think this more obvious.

    Onslaught costing only 10 gauge leaves you with either of two issues. Without further tuning, it makes Onslaught obligatory on CD. (RIP Warrior mobility.) With further tuning, it makes its use irrelevant to Storm's Eye windows, all without making it any more worth using for its own purposes. At present, on-CD Onslaught use saves roughly a GCD per 22 seconds. If anything, the effect should probably be heightened, not crushed even flatter (to per 44 seconds) in the context of double-Infuriate. You'll have removed its potential punitive interaction with Storm's Eye but also cost it the ability to delay/counter Storm's Path (over)capping. ...Why?

    Please no. Dont trade power for duration. Everyone is so focused on how to make the heal better. Its reason for exisitng is to help your co tank survive damage. Watering it down will just remove wars off tank support. If war support goes down, its just going to be less desirable. Thats just a nerf and will hurt wars. We are already the bottom in popularity and most meta opinions. Nerfing our raid support so you can have dungeon blood bath back (when we are the strongest dungeon tank in the game) is not a good idea.

    Other person suggested duration increase i just thought, maybe wrongly, that meant weaker mitigation was in order to offset.

    Mitigation wss only dicussed in connection to duration.

    No one tied target requirement to mitigation.

    Why does duration have to be tied to the raget requirement?

    Target requirement should just be removed period.
