Forced scarcity and exclusivity.

It does take away from it. You're clinging to just the idea of participating in the fanfest, but I got way more 'exclusives' than just that one.

Again, DO NOT say it's an EXCLUSIVE when it won't be exclusive. It's false advertisement.
I like having things that other people can't have. So what?
Why do you want to have that which was exclusive to others? What makes you feel like you must have it too?

I won't buy any more 'exclusives' from this game, cuz I can just get it with you when they put it up in the mogstation. Simple.

I'm using the fanfest example because not all "exclusives" equal the same thing. This isn't the first time SE brought past fanfest items to the mogshop so if your only reasoning to spend 100's of bucks and fly wherever you're from just to get a costume then like I said. The costume had little value to begin with. The other reason I'm bringing that up is bcause you compared it too the PVP rewards which I said isn't the same thing. Fanfest isn't barred behind skill. The PVP rewards are. And don't bring gear into this because gear never keeps it's value.. and it shouldn't due to the fact people like gaining more power and we gain more power thur each patch update. So gear will never be exclusive.

Now to the actual topic at hand, I'm in agreement, the PVP rewards should STAY exclusive because they are barred by skill and wins. We can debate if it's actual skill people use for the wins itself but that's not this topic. The PVP rewards need to stay where they are and stay exclusive since it takes a decent amount of time and skill to even get to the top 100. That's where I agree. Everything else.... nope. Costumes like the FFX stuff isn't barred in skill, niether is the 4 mount car or any other PVE/mogstation item that's in the game. The only thing that would is the ultimate title and weapon rewards.. which again is another thing barred by skill and high level skill at that. But that's where I stand on everything that's been added.


Edit: And no I don't want your items. I have my own. I'm only bringing up my points because people are lumping all and everything ever into this topic and I'm just making it clear it's not all equal. So don't think I'm fighting in favor of OP or anything. There's just context that's being lost and I like to keep it all within context as the answer does change depending on what we're talking about.
