Either give tanks mechanics that have valuable impact to the victory of the fight or show me a savage tier where the players did no damage and healed/mitigated their way to victory.

Healing and mitigating is but means to allow damage. And frankly a monkey can press a cooldown every 90 seconds to "do their job".

AKA - The Tank is now dealing 50% of the DPS, so now it's in a worse position.
The point is that the base for both is "10k" and the tank is using the boost to make that 5k. Versus now where the base damage is 15k for DPS and 9k for tank with virtually no interaction with the two.
