Ready for Nier Dark Apocalypse?

Being a big fan of Nier and Automata and quite enjoying FFXIV, I'm a bit surprised that I'm not so excited about it at all. I don't expect anything special from it, I just hope the story itself is not as lenghty and bland as Return to Ivalice.

The only part that could have me interested is how the Nier music can be incorporated in FFXIV, that snippet is quite good. If I could hear some "Cold Steel Coffin" or "Shadowlord", I'd be quite happy.

Gameplay wise, 24 man raids are always funny to run blind so I'm looking forward to this. The weekly grind, not so much.

It's a raid so that's an automatic "No, thank you" from me. Good for the dudes and dudettes looking forward to it. Hope it provides (at least partially) the sort of fun you wish in whatever form that may be.

Good thing I'm a cutscene skipper that doesn't care about lore or canon, so I can just look forward to a fun raid, glams and gear upgrades

Because I enjoy the gameplay. But couldn't care less who my character is and why they are doing what they're doing. They're killing stuff because I want loot and improve my skills as far as I'm concerned ^^

Y'know what this Raid Could do? Inspire People to Play or even watch LPs of Neir: Automata.
Besides fun random BS, its good advertisement.

For every complaint you can find some other game out there that handles that specific aspect better. I never understand why people think it's impossible to have complaints about something and still enjoy it ^^ If there was an MMO out there that I would enjoy more, I would be playing that instead, obviously.

That makes sense I guess I’m a bit tired of the hyperbole that seems to come with every patch making it sound like the second coming of 1.0
