Pretty sure her post said nothing of the sort. You were given a chocobo that was already raised and told to take care of it and raise it further. They have some wild nature to them but they're not feral monsters that'll rip you to shreds, you know, like monsters? You know, like what a Goobbue is?

A class that can tame MONSTERS makes more sense and we already know Shepard deals with animal control of some kind, which was already a planned class, by the way.
