Just like the NA side some JP players not happy with how the new live event is taking place how it's completely random, timing is random, location is random, and on top of that you have 16 player limit so they started a thread talking about it and Rep responded to this one.

進行中のコンテンツである都合上説明できない点が多くなってしまいますが、ここ で議論して頂いている内容は、ちゃんとフィードバックされています。意見感想、アイデアは今後の内容に反映されて行きますので、その点はご心配無きようお 願いします（内容によりますので、反映されなかったりもします）。
Since this is regarding currently on going content so there are parts which I can't explain due to reasons but we are taking your feedbacks from this thread and suggestions/ideas will be reflected on future content so please don't worry about that. (It depends on the content so it may not reflect on some)

最後の郡民は通常のクエストと は異なり、ライブイベントに属するものです。何人かの方が推察されている通り、ライブイベントとは突発的・断続的に発生する局所的な現象、と言う位置づけ のものです。システム的なものと、ゲーム内スタッフが介在するものとが含まれ、発生時間不定、発生場所不定です（よく見ると定期的に見えなくも無い場合が ありますが、一応不定です）。
The current content is different from a quest and it's related to the live event. Few have mentioned for live event it's something that happens suddenly there are some which are done through the system and some which staff actually does in-game. The location and timing is unknown it may look at specific time but it's generally unknown.

最後の郡民の他にもライブイベントが存在します。どういう物が幾つあるかと言う点は、非公開です。
Also there are other live events, what kind and how many is disclosed information.

参加したくても参加出来ていない、と言う方には全く申し開きも無いのですが…そういう事もある代物です。
There are those who want to participate but can't, for those I apologize but please understand there are these type of events as well.

取 れないヒストリーが出る、と言う点も仰る通りなのですが…これは「期間限定コンテンツ全般」の命題になると思います。なので、ここでは深く触れないでおき たい話ですが、ライブイベントではヒストリーしか発生せず、アチーブメントは発生していない事だけお知らせしておきます。
You're right that you can't obtain the history because of this but this is a limited time content. It doesn't affect the achievement and only history so please don't worry about that as well.

Some players not happy with this response. I responded they could at least increase the frequency instead of having 2-3 times per day with 16 players limit per run.

200M Gil is too much, not possible

2億ギルがほしい！というよりは、ここが主な理由だと思います。
Instead of wanting 200M gil I think this is the main reason.

ゲームを始めてすぐ装備を買ったり、合成の素材買えたりしたら、
もっと幅広く14楽しめるのになーと思ったのがこのスレッドを立てた理由です。
Started this thread because it would allow players to enjoy the game starting and buying new gear or materials to try crafting.

パッチ1.19より3都市の冒険者ギルドやマーケットの一部ストリートに、
初心者プレイヤーの装備を安く販売してくれるNPCの配置しています。
これは、初心者の方が装備をすぐに購入できるようにするためです。
In patch 1.19 we added NPC's that sells new players equipments in adventure guild or in markets. This was done to make it possible for new players to buy equipment right away.

そのうえで、購入するギルがなかなか貯まらないので買うことができない！ということであれば、
クエストやギルドリーヴなどの取得ギル額を増やすのではなく、
上記アイテムを販売してくれるNPCの販売価格を緩和する調整を検討していきます。
If with that it's still hard to buy because you can't obtain gil, instead of increasing the quest/guild leve rewards we will look into adjusting the price of equipment sold by the NPC.

On the other hand if you gather or craft at earlier levels, you can charge lots from your fellow noobies, make your own equipment and make lots of gil at the same time.

I think further reducing prices from NPCs only makes the problem even worse... you have to encourage players to craft the items... best way to do so is make them even easier to make.

I would say it's a troll thread, but reading it yeah it's because you gain so much gil overtime people don't think logically and still sell stuff for 400x profit even if you only spend 4k making it. It's impossible for a new player at times. 200m I know is sarcasm, but starting off with 30k or so would be nice but sadly, there will be people who exploit it.

Welcome to a good MMO, there are still things you haven't done because it's not all thrown into your lap the first 10 levels then you get shoved to end-game levels in a day and stuck in instances for the rest of your gaming career!

(Yes I'm sure people don't equate XIV with good, but the fact there's still things some haven't experienced is a good sign SE will throw in stuff here and there to keep something fresh unlike a lot of other MMO companies nowadays.)

When I remade my character it did give you around 20kish, though if you want to upgrade your gear sooner than level 40 with something good, 20k doesn't last long at all lol, especially if you utilize food because people sell SINGLES for 4-10k each.
