Welcome to a good MMO, there are still things you haven't done because it's not all thrown into your lap the first 10 levels then you get shoved to end-game levels in a day and stuck in instances for the rest of your gaming career!

(Yes I'm sure people don't equate XIV with good, but the fact there's still things some haven't experienced is a good sign SE will throw in stuff here and there to keep something fresh unlike a lot of other MMO companies nowadays.)

Doesn't the first quest give you like 20k If I remember was like 15-20k from beginning and that should be enough for most to start buying weapons for other class if they spend wisely imo.

When I remade my character it did give you around 20kish, though if you want to upgrade your gear sooner than level 40 with something good, 20k doesn't last long at all lol, especially if you utilize food because people sell SINGLES for 4-10k each.

That hardly makes for good content, especially considering how this content may not even be around in 2 months time.
