Such a Defeatest attitude.
Let them know whats wrong, feel free to give suggestions on how it could be fixed. And make use with what you have now till things get looked at.
Except that we did. There are countless explanations of what’s wrong and suggested fixes in the questions for the live letter. And they’re some of the most upvoted questions outside those in the first few pages, and they had to be later on because we were asked not to post until after 5.05. There are even more detailed explanations and suggestions all over the healer forums, and have been since the changes were announced. Despite this, healers were the only jobs mentioned in the live letter who weren’t either assured that changes were being worked on or that the dev team appreciated the feedback. Instead AST got a “this is how it is now” and the other healers got silence.
So, yes, I, feeling a little defeatist right now. I really hope that SE does fix healers, but seeing SCH at least has been on a downwards trajectory since 4.0 (in kit of not in QoL), and SE seems completely wedded to the new AST system which many ASTs very much dislike, I have little faith.

We're what, on Patch 5.05 and you want to throw in the towel just because Senpai didn't give us enough attention on 1 Live Letter? Geez the Male Viera Thread has Nothing to go on and they over there still got way more enthusiasm for what they want despite it probably not happening. Things can always change and get updated, a handful of times moves were taken out, and then at some point brought back in, like Energy Drain. Healers are at least guaranteed to have something done if we keep being vocal about it, so stop putting your head down about it and acting like nothing will ever be done.Except that we did. It won't happen right away, but it can always happen.
I mean, the live letter didn’t help, but it’s the general trajectory that the healers are on that bothers me. Honestly, healing hasn’t been the same for me since they changed cleric stance to no longer be a stance. Every expansion they whittle away at our offensive kit and add to our defensive kit, but the requirements haven’t changed. Which means we’re still using each kit the same amount, but one of those kits is bloated and the other incredibly threadbare. They seem to want to remove more of our offensive kits than they’ve ended up doing, too, since miasma 2 was removed then restored in Stormblood as Energy Drain was taken and restored in Shadowbringers. There has been plenty of feedback from healers to this effect, but until I hear them confirm that they’re going to course correct I’ll assume they’ll continue on the same course they’ve been on for the last few years. We're what, on Patch 5.05 and you want to throw in the towel just because Senpai didn't give us enough attention on 1 Live Letter? Add to that the fact that a lot of these bugs didn’t exist before the changes and it gives the impression that the devs care more about this vision for healers than about how the classes feel to play. That said, I do believe we’ll get QoL improvements at least, eventually. That doesn’t mean I feel much optimism about the future of healing.

We all got sent to the stake and are still burning on it.
I know this is a SCH bug fix thread but a lot of healers are upset with
general changes, homogenization and we don't have nothing to play with, and won't for at least 6 years total.
(If they give us a new healer in 6.0) Just burnt out and tired. SE made healers a snoozefest for me.
I got AST/SCH to 80 and I can't be asked to touch 'em anymore...
