    Why give us catalyze? So we could place it on people who aren't tanking and then have to heal everyone up anyways? Overhealing that one target for the whole value of the catalyze in the process? "Come on".
    Catalyze wasn't something "given" to us; it's simply something that makes the doubled barrier from critlo not spreadable due to the fine print stating that DT only spreads Galvanize, presumably because they thought being able to spread a full strength critlo (particularly since now you can perform one on demand) was too overpowered. I'm not really sure what else you're trying to get at here.

    Maybe I wasn't clear. The new buffed Adlo had no need for catalyze in the first place. The trade off is that you miss out on the "chance" of getting an insane party mitigation but in exchange get a bigger guarantied shield. The critlo from pre-5.0 was inconsistent and you never planned around it, you just switched things up if you had a crit. Being able to get more mitigation out of adlo and have it be consistent was a buff that didn't require catalyze.

    In 4.0, "double barrier" had little use outside of spreading scenarios seing as you would rarely adlo your tank anyways. And even then you wouldn't count on it. So naturally, post 5.0, Catalyze losing that use is left hanging. The fact that they even bothered to give/keep this mechanic in this form means, again, that it is either intended to help spread from the tanks, or that the design took a wrong turn somewhere. And I'm putting my money on the former hence why it's here stated as a bug.
    If you're making the point that they just kept the double shield for the sake of it in this new form, then catalyze is kind of pointless and although it doesn't qualify as a bug, it's still bad design and demonstrates a lack of understanding for how the class plays. Either way it could use fixing.
