I've had issues withy the AOE radius of fairy as well, it may just because I have to manually trigger all the fairy actions now, but it seems like half the party just never gets the group heals.

I agree with your points. Unfortunately posting here isn't going to do any more good than posting in the healer forum. Even if the devs took scholar frustrations seriously and began work to address them, the almost total lack of two-way communication between devs and the community means we will never know until the appropriate set of patch notes are published.Posting this here because the content of the healer sub forum doesn’t seem to get passed onto the dev team consistently given how the most recent live letter had the devs saying “what sch issues?” Even though we’ve been flooding the healing forum with these issues since launch day. .
You say that, but NIN, SAM, SMN, and WAR all got assurances that their issues were being worked on in the live letter. Whereas healers, who had by far the most people inquiring about them, did not.I agree with your points. Unfortunately posting here isn't going to do any more good than posting in the healer forum. I’m really happy for the jobs that are getting the fixes they need, but I wish healers could get the same treatment.
sch being incredibly dissatisfying to play isn't a bug, it's a feature
Why hasn't Ruin II been turned into Broil IV yet or something?
I don't really play healer all that much, but as I've been casually leveling scholar, I feel like I appreciated the order of the shields breaking, at least from my own experience.
As it is now, because galvanize is depleted first, I'm able to reapply it with adlo without wasting any galvanize while there's still some catalyze. Perhaps this is the source of the design decision?
I'm not really saying it's better or anything, but I don't think it's fair to label it as a bug.
You can Deploy off yourself now since you can't do it on fairy anymore, so problem solved.
Make SCH great again! Seriously though, we just want our class to be fun and engaging again, not OP, is that too much to ask for?
Catalyze isn't spread, only galvanize so that point is moot since if you're gonna DT its better to control where you deploy it from. Deploying from a tank is a bit silly since its never a 100% spread and the tank isn't always around the rest of the party while you can reposition yourself to deploy onto as many people as possible.

That was not fixed at all for all of two years. They made some changes to it but the entire mechanic was useless. It was basically pointless to even have you lilies in your HUD, for the entire expansion. Generating lilies with spells you willingly avoid was a disaster from the start. Shortening the cooldowns for skills you would time for specific moments went completely to waste as well. It was simply broken for 2 years.Ok hold on with the Lilies, that mess was fixed PRETTY quickly, it took like 1 Major Patch to fix that. It didn't take long at all for the devs to get criticism about it, and they did something about it. Hey look, 1 more example of something getting fixed, and in less then 2 years. Then in next Expansion they Improved it.
I can't imagine balancing the role to be easy, even WITH suggestions, the community and the Devs need to keep at it, putting your head down literally wont fix anything, it won't
address issues.
And looking at what they've been doing, I can at least tell they are Trying. TRYING to balance stuff. Sadly we need to endure alot of trial and error before they can get it right and perfect.
It won't happen right away, but it can always happen.
Not solved at all. Catalyze goes completely to waste in that case. There's no point in having a huge shield on a single member of a party (because you'll still need to heal everyone else) the only people catalyze doesn't go to waste on are people dealing with more damage than the party wide damage you want to deploy for. And the only person that fits that criteria is the MT (or potentially OT if both tanks get hit). the point is you can't deploy off of either of those.
