Haven't followed the entire conversation so maybe this is addressed but, the fact that ultimate content exists (and continues to exist) is a testament to how much raider subs matter. Otherwise there'd be no reason to even develop any time and resources toward it.¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Game growth show that their departure isn't noticeable. A raider sub don't worth more than any other sub. They don't loose player, they don't miss them since they even recommend to unsub till new content arrive.
Its hard cold fact I'm not sorry it hurt your feeling because I'm such a hater.

Well they sure try to give a toy to everyone, they have allowed ressources for hardcore content and its savage + ultimate (you probably could add ex primal who is the easy part of the hardcore content), there is plenty of challenge, very few are interested in the extremely hardcore so its understandable the staff don't create even more than they already do in detriment of other thing.
They even had a third ultimate in mind for SB but they had to take ressources somewhere and it was the ultimate who was sacrified first.
My point isn't that they don't care at all, they do. Its more they already do as much as they possibily can and its pretty much work as it is.

I don't think there is a reason to create any more raid content. Savage is there for most people while Ultimates exist for the most hardcore raiders and take them on average 1-3 months to clear, which is just in time for the next savage raid. Raiders also tend to make their own end-game with sites like FFLogs and focus on leaderboards and personal growth.Well they sure try to give a toy to everyone, they have allowed ressources for hardcore content and its savage + ultimate (you probably could add ex primal who is the easy part of the hardcore content), there is plenty of challenge, very few are interested in the extremely hardcore so its understandable the staff don't create even more than they already do in detriment of other thing.
Personally I'd like an actual relic quest line that's not tied behind Eureka like content. I missed the old ways of doing relic compared to the fate fest that came through SB.

Raid savage isn't complete by that much people either, I don't have the number on hand but its pretty low too, not as much as ultimate but still. Personaly I don't like the normal mode, it left nothing new to discover for me in the savage, spoiling any interest in it. I loved the bahamut formula but sacrifice were made for people to enjoy the raid story.I don't think there is a reason to create any more raid content. Me too, I want my old fashion relic grind soooooo much. It wasn't the most fun activity but its better than this eurekan nightmare. I even miss the first step who was actualy a bit challenging at the time.

While it might not be completed by many compared to the overall amount of players, a lot of them to try it out and even casual raid groups, while they may never clear the raids, will still spend time together raiding for the sake of spending time together. Nothing really brings people together like wanting to down a boss for the possibility of nice glamors after all.Raid savage isn't complete by that much people, I don't have the number on hand but its pretty low too, not as much as ultimate but still.

With the old relic, I felt progress and the steps felt nice to do, on top of which, i could do them on my own pace. ARF tome farming? I could do roulettes and progress. Sure it could be slower, but at least I didn't have to put myself into tasks I didn't like to progress.

I agree, the actual difficulty of savage is good enough to give more casual raider a taste of challenge and maybe even victory even if they don't conquer it fully. A non hardcore raider will take quite some time to finish it and 3 to 4 month don't seems that short to me. Ultimate will keep the more hardcore occupied for quite some time too. While it might not be completed by many compared to the overall amount of players, a lot of them to try it out and even casual raid groups, while they may never clear the raids, will still spend time together raiding for the sake of spending time together. Yup, they even had something more, I loved those weapon because they grow with me, they had that bit of lore that make them more special, more unique. Eureka failed at this. I hate my eureka relic, she only carry bad memories :-(.
More importantly and that not only for your personal gains was you did stuff with others, you were out there, doing literally anyhting. In Eureka you do eureka and ONLY eureka and ONLY with ppl doing the same as you, needing the same and being on the same level... all the left behind players, the late joiners... by how the ppl are and the system is made you were forced to do it fast and as soon as you can or youll be left behind - Oh you could not play that weekend and all you friends are 3-5 lvl higher then you? too bad get another party. Oh that FC newbie needs help for smt? too bad youve been farming 90+ min for that fate and now is it window and the next will be up in 16 HOURS...With the old relic, I felt progress and the steps felt nice to do, on top of which, i could do them on my own pace. While the concept was nice and the grind ok after some nervs (and lets be honest logos should have been in Anemos already or at least pagos) it was dead content by its concept.
At least hand lv 80 players lv 80 tome - or let us gain exp in there. It was ok on HW with the Diadem and how we needed stuff from there, but now even all the NPC are inside an isnanced area....
The cocept was nice but they took the worst possible ways of giving us a hard time... and that stupid delevel... at least dont let us delevel below a zones min lvl, or like in FF11 let us gain the exp to "buffer" till almost 61 so we can loose that exp isntead of deleveling...
Eureka could have been continued now as some nice side content, but nooo we need to kill it off... i just cant get behind such decisions...

Part of my also feels like much of the "success" of Eureka was relic being tied to it. If it relic wasn't there, it would most likely be dead on arrival. Which says something about the content...More importantly and that not only for your personal gains was you did stuff with others, you were out there, doing literally anyhting. I think Baldesian Arsenal was my favorite part of Eureka but that was locked behind 3 other Eureka's and by the time most people got there, you'd be hard pressed to find a group to smoothly progress it.
