DPS with utility should have the opening to exceed pure DPS classes if the party they are in enables their rDPS to do so.

Then for what reason would you keep a BLM or SAM in your group ? If a Dragoon boosted by a Dancer or a Monk boosted can deal more damage than a BLM/SAM boosted, then SAM and BLM are basically useless, no ? ^^
