    for a mmo that has been out for a year and a half there is not anywhere near enough content. Anyone who thinks there is enough to do after that long must work as SE. Most games by now would have 15-20 dungeons, Pvp content, large scale raids (10-20 man+content) and much much more.

    People kept going back to them because the drop rates were so unbalanced. There might have been 4-5 things to get from them but after doing them for a while you were always down to 1 thing wanted by half a dozen people and 9/10 kills would result in effectively nothing. But there was still always that 1 item that someone wanted, usually Ridill or some rare abjunction, that someone wanted.

    People went back because they wanted that one thing that they thought would raise them over the 99% of other people. So they could consider themselves elite. So they could have something that was somewhat of a status symbol. Not because doing it was fun, just because it was the means to an end.

    I agree with everyone asking for the sky-type content. It's a great way for people to do content without it being instanced and also you get items along the way to the top NM. Though, this sort of seems like an expansion-worthy amount of content unless SE decides to release an area specifically for this come 2.0 (I know they said something about making a Crystal Tower).

    I also agree with an NM that spawns once every 24(or more) hours and dropping a few great items for end game. All it needs is a shorter window, I bet most people would be perfectly fine with a 30 minute window.

    I'm just sick of the primals, and darkhold gear is just worthless. I hope 1.21's dungeon is actually worthwhile (as in not just run through a million mobs to complete the dungeon in time for, currently, poor rewards).

    I feel if select fights were restricted to be able to be done once a day with a challenge involved, a very balanced drop rate, and great gear people would see endgame as less of a grind and more enjoyable. This would also keep content from getting old really fast and also would prevent the battle developers from being upset when their content gets completed way earlier than expected.

    EDIT: Oh and give me an Absolute Virtue to attempt to kill.

    You are right, they need to balance things out a little bit, either give them stats that are slightly better than a normal high tier gear + 1 IV materia or make it so U/U gear can attach only 1 materia themselves with a 50% failure rate.

    What about the Mask of the Mortal Hex which drops from the wolves coffer in Natalan, that mask does +20 attk magic potency, as far as I am aware you cannot equip attk magic to any other headgear, thats makes that mask unique for THM's who want to max dmg there gear. I would have to look into it a little deeper but I am sure there will be other cases of this from the U/U dropped gear too.

    Also my LS run DH a lot as the gear is still worth it to people who cannot afford the higher priced IV materia, plus killing Orge is fun, Batraal not so much as I only got him to 5% so far, annoying >.<

    Sadly MMOs also don't have to go through a complete restructure or totally flop this badly when it's supposed to be a grade A mmo.

    I'm 100% in favor of content similar to Salvage and Assaults! (Lolme never did Einherjar, so no clue about that.)

    While the drop rates in Salvage where obviously way too low for some parts, I think the overall design was great. And the Assaults were probably my favorite content in terms of game design altogether, simply because there was so much diversity and so many mechanics I didn't expect to see in a MMO.

    Also note that most MMO players like a little PVP on the side to break things up as well as a vast slew of gear to persue and many options for Endgame, which this game doesnt really have an endgame yet.

    I commend you for trying to stay positive though.
    I guess what I am trying to say is a full blown story line deep quest content is not going to happen in the next patch, Iam thinking of something that could be thrown in pretty easily I think. NM hunting is content, just because it wasn't elite didn't mean you can't have fun doing it.

    I do agree with alot of the things posted on this forum. On a side note is is good to see a constructive forum thread instead of the usual "I hate XIV" thread".

    The way i see it what we're playing right now is only temporary, its all going to change in 2.0 - so why invest too much time creating content for it? Of course elements of what we currently have will move over but i think its going to have a much different feel.

    Primals and instance dungeons are probably the easiest content to implement at this stage, quick dirty and contained.

    When 2.0 launches i expect to have a nation story line, a main story line, and open world HNMs that pertain to the storyline. I sorta expect it to be kinda slow and lacking in depth content during this rebuild phase, but if 2.0 doesn't deliver /ragequit!

    This is a problem with any MMO where the majority of the population is at level cap, a server merge should help with this problem quit a bit.

    I wonder if the dev team still have any intention of adding level sync.

    They won't make "Hardcore only content". ZNM with all key items being 100% is way better.

    We need "hard content" but content that can be scheduled by all LS at any time. not 24/48 hours HNMs... that's the way wherein only people that don't have a job can do.

    Only facts we need to keep in our minds, casual players make the game exist, people that have a job normally are casual.
