Considering the absurdly narrow definition, I'm not at all surprised at the discontentment

Perhaps rather than whining, these malcontents should suggest their own ideas and examples of perfect content - but something that can be created relatively quickly while they are also very hard at work on 2.0.

The devs are listening...

Well maybe because i dont call a good content the read/accept quest that npc give right now, leves are joke for leveling and what about people who has almost everything at 50? its been a year you know? we need quest with cutscenes, missions that requires more than one member, they should get rid of the requirement to be in the same company to help a friend and have reward in the same time, GC leves are solo type, in the opening video you can see how far one leve takes the character and how much rich story it has at the end, they should link a few leves with side story, faction leves gives items that are not even worth it and feels the same as regular leves, crafted gear with materia is far better than rare/ex gear, theres no more story after lvl 46 so thats why everyone is asking for something that takes more time to do.

We need content that last for months.
