Gunbreaker is more Siefer than Squall. A disappointing realization.

Eh... Its a trench coat... I feel like it mixes elements of all 3 gunblade users and gives its own twist on things.

Probably in the future we will see the artifact armor have more pull towards the other two gunblade users.

I have no personal issue with the fact they used Seifer in there or that the female idle is Lightning's stance. I like that they pulled from all 3 characters to make a unique class built around the weapon.

My only complaint is that if they want us to switch between using 1 and 2 hands for this weapon... Make it a bit bigger to reflect that it is a hand and a half sword. And maybe fix the animation sounds that i see a lot of people complaining about.

Other than that no issues here from me.

Funny thing about that is Regual van Hydrus use the more classic Squall Battle stance from FF8 despite being a Garlean Gunblade user but it fits his gunblade designed length due to being made for two-handed wielding.

Though I prefer Gaius's combat stance as a Garlean Gunblade User.

I suspect the change for Gunblade length to be shorter is because the battle stance is made more towards Squall's newer battle stance in current iterations of him being that he holds the Gunblade on his right hand with his right shoulder supporting it before he swings it.

Squall's classic FF8 stance was more fitting for the larger Gunblade design.

This right here, while I can't say for sure for original Dissidia, NT Squall uses his Gunblade with one hand quite a bit.
