If the rotation is boring "Personality" might not be the word you're looking for, maybe try fun factor or something. The personality of GNB is shoot bang slash things, which it does.

What Xia said tbh. GNB's "personality" is you gain cartridges from your 1-2-3, you expend them with your continuation combo which is more like 4-0-5-0-6-0 and keep up your dots in the No Mercy window. Its personality is that it's fast and uses a gunblade. Just how drk's personality is BIG SWORD, dark magic powers.

Your complaint is about having to 1-2-3 but DRK is literally the essence of only having 1-2-3 + WAR's inner release and nothing to spend magic on but the same 1 skill that only does the one thing for it.... Oh and TBN which applies a buff to do the same one skill that does the one thing for it. DRK lost its identity after it gave up the control over where it spends its MP, not its personality of being dark/edgy themed.

It sounds more like you just don't like the GNB gameplay style and not the lack of personality.

GNB personality is the Extended Combo system which use Ammo to expend the 3 hit combo into potential 12345, 123456789, and etc.

The skills that cost Ammo are skills meant to be extensions of the 123 combo.

The class does not remotely play like 123123 unless you're not using sonic break, burst strike, or continuation at all. Of all the tanks to make this complaint about Gunbreaker is by far the least deserving of it.
