The point was making is rewards from certain endgame activities should have next to no impact on other end game activities. IE PvP rewards pertain to PvP, Mini games to Mini games, Dungeons to Dungeons. With the one big exception of crafting. And the reason crafting is the exception, is its goal is to create useful items for a number of purposes.

Which I am pretty sure most can agree gets the end game shaft time and time again.
And its this type of thinking that has made MMO's completely lose their identity, back in the old days as long as an activity was not a 'Minigame" The content appended one another. Now you have this basterdization where everything should be relegated to its own separate corner, with its own separate rewards.
