It's one of the advantages of living by the adage 'sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me'.

Smugly championing the removal of privileges for all on account of the actions of some reflects poor character. Poor logic as well, because even in FFXIV's "friendly, welcoming" PvE environment there is no lack of snide, deliberately hostile commentary. This morning, not even twelve hours after the content was released, I watched a tank babyrage at healers failing mechanics in the fourth Eden raid. "bruh....", "BRUH", "BRUHHHH", and so forth after they got punted off the platform, leading into full sentences of bitching and moaning. Were your logic to be utilized outside of PvP, it would surely mean the removal of chat from all duty finder content.
Let's be real. It's NOWHERE near as toxic in pve as it is in pvp.

You just citing one example of pve toxicity doesn't change that fact.

AND the group can easily boot the manbaby and replace him with someone else. You can't do that in pvp.

There are so many differences between pve and pvp and I'm not sure why you're just ignoring it.

Go play some more LoL then if getting called names is your jam.
