Strike that, reverse it. A lot of people want Miqo'te and Midlander styles on other race. There is nothing that I've seen that indicates any cultural significance for the hempen, nor the starter sets. People can choose what to wear in real life. There is very little in the way of distinct cultures divided on racial lines in the game.

I don't know, while I don't want an abundance of racial gear in the game, I feel like the starter/hempen sets are fine as is. Plus given how long it took SE to get around to fitting the gold saucer bunny outfits to males, I feel that sharing the existing hempen sets all to 6 other races is probably a time sink they don't need.

I'd really love to see them add a new one to fit Viera, but also make all the others available to everyone else. I don't care if it's from MGP or something, I just want to be able to choose one of the other looks.

I agree there shouldn't be any restriction on style. I'm an American, cultural 'appropriation' IS my culture. We mix and match styles, foods, music, and clothing into unique beautiful creations. We should be able to do that here.
