Even if the face/hairstyles came out, there's still the problem of people wanting a specific hairstyle, but not the face it comes with, and vice versa.

Same as with Au Ra face/horns issue... but few times worse, because hair are much important for character's fashion.

Wanna chime in and make a correction here.

As of the latest Census that I know of Hrothgar are legit tied with Male Elezen in numbers and more popular than the combined total Roes (as in males and Females). Which is no small feat given that male elezen saw an increase in players at the same time. Also there's around a 8K difference between them and Roebros.

You are correct here, but there is an issue: July statistic isn't very accurate:

1. It's the start of the expnasion so there is a bunch of Returner players, who will likely leave the game again (and so they will leave "Active Players" section);
2. Some players swapped just to look at new race, not for maining it (as it was with Au Ra);
3. Some players swapped to try it, would be disappointed and so they will return to their original races (as it was with Au Ra).

At this, point, amount of Hrothgars (same as amount of Viera) would decrease a bit later. I would say that proper statistic with players who is actually sticked with new races will show up somewhere in August, maybe even September.

Though I think Hrothgars would be more popular than Roes anyway, their proportions are better, expect hunched back.
