I would disagree - WoW mythics kept a LOT of end game players busy and entertained since they were almost "limitless". Each time they felt a little different with the randomised modifiers and drops.I can't say I have maxed out all my classes to level 80 in the time since the expansion came out but when that occurs I will likely take a break and return when more content is available. If you look on the forums of ESO, WoW and GW2 for example most the time you'll see complaints from people about lack of end game content. I don't think theres any game that actually handles it well.
If there are complaints about lack of content in end game its worth playing 2 different MMOs at the same time so that when there's a lack of content in one game you can fall back on the other and then return later etc.
