It is a team game, and that means you should be considerate to everyone's skill level. If they're your tank, they set the pace, period. If it takes an inconsequential time period more? Who cares? It's a game.It is okay to play the game the way you want, but if your play style does not mesh with the group then it is normal to not expect them to want to put up with it. At the very least they asked you to leave instead of just blind kicking you from the group. I was in the same boat when I started to play this game, I ended up leaving a couple of groups on my own accord because I knew I could not meet the expectations of the group in question either due to gear or skill level at time.
Do not take it personally if you are asked to leave or are removed from a group due to your play style, it just means that it was not the right fit and they so happened to have majority required for your removal (if you have been kicked from a party) I do not agree with berating someone for their play, no matter how frustrating it can be if the player in question refuses to learn and stick with their old ways due to the standard you do not pay my sub, or we cleared the content etc . . . in the end this is a team game and the team speaks if the team wants to shave that 15 seconds so be, no one persons time has more value over the group itself. Overall your issues seems to have very little to due with parsing and more so your time verse the groups time.
