    It feels like, for example for SCH, that they killed the identity and core skills of SCH. Even if some people have fun right now, the problem is, the content will not be as hard as people predict because we get better gear as well.
    I really do not understand what they were trying to "balance" by killing the Healers, especially SCH? I mean seriously, if my brother walks around and says he has to hide the Job icon of SCH because it feels horrible to see this killed SCH atm(his main before) which was so perfect.

    I mean preordering and paying the subs etc, why couldn't they have invited some healer influencer for the media tour btw? Do they devs even player healer and talk to the PvE team? How could Yoshida let this go?

    SCH has to change drastically to feel good again because atm it feels clunky, unfinished and the identity killed.

    How dare healers want boss fights to be more that 90-95% spamming Broil...since that's been the experience in every instance I've run this weekend.

    I mean, I would like White Mage to be more than just spamming Stone/Glare constantly for about 90-95% of the fight. But there's really no reason for that to be the case in group content.

    Why? I keep seeing this vague reasoning, but no one ever has bothered to explain why "healers must have only one attack ability they'll spend a majority of the encounter using" is some inherent truth you seem to believe in.

    For 6 years SCH had more than that, and people enjoyed it. If balancing needed to occur, then adjust potency/recast/mp costs instead of just gutting everything out and leaving the class feeling like a shell of its former self.

    Over the last couple months the healer changes have been discussed at great length in many threats on multiple forums and other such venues. It has been said perhaps a thousand times or more that there is no need for more healing due to the low difficulty level of 99% of FFXIV's content. That this difficulty level would not change was predicted, and this prediction has proven true in Shadowbringers; even in leveling dungeons with no massive gear advantage GCD heal use is rarely necessary. The need for healing will only decrease from here on out as players get geared and learn the mechanics. The consequent problem being that with healing requirements met there is nothing else for healers to do than mash either their AE or single target button for 50-80% of their time.

    At this point I believe it is safe to say: obvious troll is obvious.

    I thought I would not like the change to AST card system
    but after some try, turn out not so bad, still need to use my brain to decide redraw or play the card
    and seem healing is more intense now
    I am actually happy with my AST

    Getting the same card 3-5 times in a row isn't unique to the new kit, it's something that happens with RNG, it's something that happened with the old kit. As for your seals, you only gain them while in combat, and you don't enter combat until you contribute healing or damage. Furthermore, the player you're buffing must also be in combat.
    Old kit we have 8 unique cards, 5 different types of use. Plus some creative ways to use in dng. You could use all, even some was very situational.

    New kit is 8 cards that do 2 different things and the difference is the potency.

    They don’t even bother to change the art or the name. Is ridiculous because it was a lazy work, they never put all the effort that they say on balance healing. Is disappointing watch what they did to healing.

    Healing this expansion in dungeons for me has been, oh look a group wide aoe, answer it with a lily, oh a tank buster answer it with a lily if a regen isn't enough, while dps spamming. WHM is in a great spot right now, but I fall asleep playing SCH, while it feels clunky with its aetherflow and AST is fun but... you can't help but notice how much weaker this card system is at times.
