				Delete limited job concept/10
You're good at the game? You're an elitist.
You're using a parser to better yourself? Elitist.
You're making suggestions on how someone can improve themselves? E l i t i s t.
You wipe a farm party constantly but you're having fun playing your way. Nah you're fine dude.
This community astounds me at times.
I think it's mostly that the limited job was done badly.
It seems they couldn't quite decide what it was going to be for. On one side, they decided it was going to be solo oriented, so couldn't join group content except in pre-made parties. But then they decided to put most of its important skills into those very same group instances that it had been excluded from joining.
They should have made up their minds. If it's a solo job, then it needs to be soloable. If it's a group based job, then it needs access to the game's grouping tools. The split we got doesn't work for either.
It's not really a 'solo' job it's just not duty finder compliant. They want blue mages to be able to run duties but not random groups, so they let blue mages use party finder but not duty finder. Because letting them use duty finder would mean throwing them into random groups and needing to add in checks to make sure the blue mage's current spell selection isn't dead weight or isn't going to entirely triviliaze things by using 1k needles in satasha or something. I think this is as good a balance as they're going to get in that regard.I think it's mostly that the limited job was done badly.

And that would have been fine if they hadn't locked skills behind it. If grouping was left as an optional thing for players who want to run content with their friends, then excluding BLU from DF's party matching feature wouldn't have caused any problems. The problem comes from simultaneously disabling party matching while also requiring it.
But this only explains one side of the issue. I agree they had valid reasons for excluding BLU from DF. But given the fact that they were doing that, they should have provided a viable alternative to it. The job's required content should have been soloable (with purely optional grouping available for pre-formed parties).Because letting them use duty finder would mean throwing them into random groups and needing to add in checks to make sure the blue mage's current spell selection isn't dead weight or isn't going to entirely triviliaze things by using 1k needles in satasha or something.
