And there is the typical using WoW as the boogey man post. Now all we need is "This is some HQ bait" post, and we would have the full set!

I have played a bit of WoW, due to the better PvP there, but I have played years more FF14, and I'd say that excluding trade chat, WoW is actually pretty chill and not all that toxic.
If you play on the Oceanic servers like I do, even Trade Chat isn't that bad at all, as there is a lot less stuff about politics in there.

But I really am getting sick of people using WoW as the boogey man, or as a buzz word. You try to suggest better PvP modes? You get responses like "NO, more PvP is Liek WoW, WoW BAD, No PVP in FF14!" Players suggest an in-game parser? "NO WoW has people with parser add-ons, WoW is more toxic becoz parsers, no parsers in FF14!" What about Grand Company stuff being more meaningful? "NO, WoW has factions, Factions cause toxicity in WoW, NO Factions in FF14!"
WoW has become the default reason for people to disagree with stuff.

I was also worried about the marketboard stuff before it dropped, but I guess my server was actually one of the cheap ones, as a lot of stuff has gone up in price on my server, and more things are selling.

I will admit that hunts have gotten a bit worse though, people don't really wait for players to get there anymore.
It's gotten back to ARR and HW levels of EP's. It'll probably pass though, as those EPs get what they want, or get bored of hunts, as periods of EPs have passed in the past.
