Welcome to the free market and capitalism. They won't remove it, or change it.
For cerberus, at least for myself, using the marketboard to sell things has come to a full stop. What previously netted me 200k-300k every couple of days for a couple of hours work, now gets me less than 70k for the same amount of work. Hard to get materials that previously sold for 100k at least, now tend to be found at 40k or less.
Personally, I'm not bothering to sell anything anymore, why bother if the amount of work I put in isn't properly rewarded? Less than 70k for a couple hours of work isn't rewarding, it's insulting.
I have enough gil that I don't need anymore of it, and I won't need anymore for quite some time. I'm just off the market when it comes to providing the raw materials, which I used to provide quite a lot of.
I would rather say.
Free botting real estate and RMTalism
Cross server traveling makes it easy for RMT companies to ruin the game where they previously couldnt do on closed server... Now its not the cease anymore, they are the biggest beneficients of the change, they are making more gil than ever and your average player is struggling to make any because he cannot compete with army of rarely ever banned bots.
Wohoo, what a great feature and opportunities for those who are not omni-crafters, now they barely even could do any gil.

I can make anywhere from 300,000-1,000,000 a day without crafting. A friend of mine makes quite a bit more. I haven't touched the crafting screen since 2014, and I don't believe they have crafted anything in this expansion.

Same. You'd be surprised how much roulette farming and preying on people's laziness pays off.
Wait a little into the expansion when more people get lvl 80, everything will be dirt cheap like it was in SB when they released this cross servering feature. The prices already drop and drop and drop.

Really? I've been using the same method I used in 4.5. And 4.1
Maybe we'll see what you're suggesting in 5.5? Maybe 6.1?
