"My time is valuable"
"Go watch a guide"
So, you just want players to go afk for a while to look up the information you can't provide? Seems contradictory.

how about they look it up before queuing? isnt that what respect is? if im gonna just ask for help why cant i watch youtube? theres nothing contradictory in asking people for being courteous to others, i have to do a countdown everytime i go to a raid when im the tank, this isnt different
I don't think there's a solution to this. In PUGs I consider myself lucky if any of the DPS know how to pull what could remotely be considered respectable damage (ie have even half a clue how to execute a rotation) let alone put forth any effort to prepare themselves for a dungeon.
Instead what we get are people ignoring mechanics, performing their jobs poorly, and blaming healers when things go wrong. Other than running exclusively with friends, there is nothing we can do to stop this selfish and ignorant behavior.
I gotta say though OP, if you are refusing to explain mechanics I don't think that's really helping anyone. If there is a solution, I just don't think that's part of it.
yeah thats mostly my experience in this game, and my mind is going over to agree with you, its too much work to fight this not acceptable behavior and just either help them, or ignore them and let someone else explainI don't think there's a solution to this. Only time you should have to watch a guide is if you're doing savage or extreme. No other fights really need that much commitment
Your reasoning applies to extreme primals and savage content. Getting mad over someone not watching a guide in a 4 man dungeon in a DF party feels wrong.
