The potions are not pay to win because you won't get anything out of it that would give you a advantage over other players.
You don't learn to play your class because of the story. You learn to play your class when you do content and read your tooltips.

Unlocking all flight points and skipping the story is skipping the grind. These potions are also not against the ToS otherwhise they wouldn't be in the mogstation.

The only problem i have with the main story, is that content is locked behind it.

When i first started playing i played on a preferred world. I had a lvl 70 before i even got to Heavensward.

Somedays i just did roulette and nothing else, so i just leveled very quickly.

But being at 70 i literally couldn't do anything end game related because it was all locked behind MSQ.

That is my one of my biggest gripes with the game, that and the terrible housing system.

Yes the worst thing in this game is that content is locked behind the MSQ!

I...like it that way, makes both the story and the dungeons/trials/raids important as they're not just there for the sake of being there.

Since i don't like how the MSQ is made here i find it pretty annoying. But its fine if you like it that way.

This is a good question but your reasons are flawed. If you get stressed from tanking then you shouldn't play tank, you're not cut out for it. And if you think you won't enjoy the story then why even play this game? The story is a large percentage of the game and SHB will be adding just as much story that you won the able to skip for another 2+ years anyway

Gonna be honest, I don't believe you. Nobody gets matched with toxic groups every single time in DF (actually I'd go as far as saying nobody gets matched with toxic groups more than 10% of the time via DF). If you're having problems with every single group you match with, it's time to start asking if you're the source of the problem, and why.

My guess would be you're consciously stressing yourself out of nothing, leading to the unenjoyable experiences (at no fault to the people you're running with) and preventing you from doing your part of what is objectively an easy job (healers are the only ones who have to pay attention during DF dungeons), and also preventing you from ever learning how to do it better so that you're not unnecessarily weighing down the team.

Here's the standard procedure for tanking in DF dungeons:
    1. Activate tank stance (Grit)
    2. Run into group of enemies
    3. Use AoE enmity pull (Unleash)
    4. Run into next group of enemies
    5. Use AoE enmity pull (Unleash)
    6. Stand in place. Use rampart when it's up, reuse Unleash every few combos.
7a. Once the enemies are dead, repeat from step 2.
7b. If you die, repeat from step 4 (pull one group at a time until the healer says you can go back to pulling two).

If every group is toxic, the source of toxicity is closer to home than the randoms you're getting matched with.
