Stormblood story skip when?

With shadowbringers coming out, Is there any ETA on when the stormblood story skip will be on mogstation? I really don't want to bother with it because I know I won't enjoy it and it'll just be me worked up into a ball of stress from tanking in dungeons I've never been in.

I assume it'll be out shortly, though I don't know the timeframe for other skips in ARR and Heavensward.

But might I say, as someone who was also anxious about tanking new dungeons (mostly since I'd taken a long break and came back late into the expansion) you really can't go wrong just pulling a couple packs at once, seeing how it goes, and then pulling more (or less if things went poorly) from there. I can't think of many special things that tanks need to worry about in any of the new dungeons. But I get not wanting to bother with it at all.

If you tell people you are new, it won't be as bad.

Usually just saying "Hey there, first time here."

People will tend to cut you some slack.

You'll have to do the dungeons eventually as they will be part of roulettes. There is no real way of avoiding them.

Ahh, I definitely get that one. People can get very uppity when they feel their precious time has been wasted. It's like dude, if you're in that big of a hurry or want things absolutely perfect, make some friends and roll with a FC, don't harass the people you get in Duty Finder.

EDIT: Looks like the Heavensward story skip was implemented alongside the early access period for the expansion. Assuming that's true here, end of June seems to be the target period.

m8 I think they were agreeing with you. Not talking to you directly when they were talking about people being in a hurry. I worry that you're so quick to jump at the slightest chance of conflict and maybe that's part of your issue with dungeons?

I get anxious about tanking things I'm not familiar with as well, but if someone in the party has a problem with it, they can leave. That should generally be how it works.

You're on my Server hit me up when you're on and I'll run them with ya I got AST and WHM to 70 and I could always use tanking pointers here and there cause I still have oh dren oh dren oh dren moments and spam heal cause I'm watching people eat AoEs like tic tacs.

If you're worried about going into new dungeons as a tank, you might want to look at getting a second class with a different role? It's so much better to go as a healer or DPS first and just "follow the leader". I'd hate to be learning dungeons as a tank, and the queue times aren't that bad.

Also if you're following the story, it's quite a jump from the start of Stormblood to where the skip would put you. It's my least-favourite main story but the post-credits story has been good and sets up a number of new reveals and information.
