    OP never implied current content would require a change, only that new content built around 5-man would be created, and to be honest, if we can get content like that it'd be interesting. As for queues, if the content has desirability and replay-ability, the queues shouldn't be an issue...

    I feel like this is where guildhest would fit the idea best.

    From my perspective, guildhest should have the capacity to offer quirky challenges and odd scenarios. Guildhest seems to make use of already existing backgrounds so the devs could use that to their advantage and re-use these assets for extra guildhest challenges that could feature anywhere from 2 to 8 people.

    Well, the Devs already made 4 lots of Eureka that hardly anyone wants,
    Verminion, that hardly anyone plays,
    Diadem which is dead,
    Made BLU which people can't really use,
    Made Fates in almost every zone, that people don't really do,
    and changed PvP completely in SB, which not many people really like.
    A 5 man dungeon seems like it would be worth the resources compared to these things

    If 5 man dungeons make the game more fun, then the devs should do it, considering people stay if the game is fun. And there is nothing wrong with asking devs for things that might make the game more fun. Better than some of the stuff nobody asked for, yet it was implemented, in the list above.

    6 or so years of the same old dungeon format, that we all have to do for the MSQ gets tiring. Spicing up the dungeon with different numbers of roles, and role requirements would do good for the game, I think.

    I wouldn't mind seeing 1 dungeon that requires a crafter and gatherer. Perhaps it could be an 8 man with a 4 man combat team and a 4 man craft/gather team.

    As an example, the combat team would fight through for a while and find the way barred by a huge pit. The gatherer team would have to gather high level materials in the area. The crafter team could then craft a bridge. This would be done in stages, each stage being a high level 4 star craft and giving 10% progress, double for HQ. While this is happening the combat team will be ambushed by steadily stronger mobs from behind, so speed and efficiency is important. It even encourages the crafter to avoid craft macros, which are slower and encourages the gatherer to aim for HQ materials to help make it easier.

    After fighting through a bit more you come across 4 broken Magitek armour, which the craft/gather team must try and fix up while the combat team initiates the boss ahead. The boss has an enrage timer and requires the craft/gather team to repair the Magitek, hop in and provide reinforcements in time.

    On the last boss, the craft/gather team can take a stairs to reach a side balcony where they can make cannons to provide artillery support against the boss.

    It'd be something different and give DoH/DoL something new to do beside being a gil machine. It would be interesting seeing skilled and geared DoH/DoL in demand for an instance.

    I mean, they made a dungeon specifically for BLU only. Making a dungeon designed around having an imbalanced job structure shouldn't be difficult, in the end.

    Uhh, NO. Absolutely not. If anything, the 5th player should be a DPS. Requiring a 2nd tank or healer has to be one of the worst ideas, given the tank/healer/damage ratios, and like others said, would require a massive redesign of the bosses and trash. Way too much work.

    If they added a 3rd DPS player, rebalancing the dungeons would be much simpler, and for most of them (At least the lower difficulty ones with simpler mechanics), could probably be done with little more than simply applying a health and attack multiplier to all the enemies in the each dungeon.
