FFXIV is still being reworked (face it it is still in beta, even though many do not want to admit it).
Tanaka did a wonderful job on all the Seiken Densetsu games, loved them, and FFXI too.... but for some reason his work in FFXIV was....well... "meh".
Yoshi is not only having to rework the old FFXIV, but pretty much create a new one.

But what gets me the most, is when people come to an MMORPG, and find a time sink of any kind, and rage on the forums about it..... I mean really? There is a time sink in an MMORPG? Oh god call the press!

Inventory as well..... I can not see how you have that much inventory space, and still complain that you are running out, sell some stuff for god sake...... -.-

BTW OP... nice that you have to announce who you have blocked in your sig, shows some real class there......

I don't see what it matters one way or the other unless she's afraid she'll piss someone off and become a target.

I wish they would have monthly GM events or something to give players a chance to come together as a server, and no the RP in town doesn't count. I remember a GM randomly decided to spawn Doom Lord Kazzak on the tournament servers in WoW... it was awesome.

Instead of RP'ing with players in town why don't they spawn a mob somewhere in Mor Dhona and have the RP dude lead adventurers up there to take it down. Maybe give the RP dude some badass abilities and buffs to help the players. Make up a bit of lore surrounding it. Make it an achievement. There's a lot of possibilities, but giving players some dynamic content that requires the effort of the server would be a welcome break from the daily tedium of this game. That would be way more exciting than fighting mobs in a box every three months.

+1, how s/he going to lambast someone for not clearing content when s/he's supposedly using a 'beta' account. Who is to say that the person who allegedly didn't clear the content isn't using a beta account as well? Troll through and through. Xoo unknowningly called her/him out. lol. Sakuya Kongouji

I have to agree with those complaining about his/her post. You have no business calling others out or knocking there post if you cannot prove you don't have a class over level 33.

I didn't know beta "ended" and that 4/16/2011 was a date during "Alpha/Beta". Until you prove otherwise, you don't play the game. And if you are Sakuya Kongouji and seeing how neither characters have actually beaten moogle. I'm going to assume you still haven't done then and should henceforth stop posting on the forums until you accomplish that task. As far as you know, the person making this complain never beat the fight and is using his/her "Alpha/Beta" account.

Congrats on giving me a reason on hating that person without fact it is you! Congrats on having your true character known, so hopefully your whiteknighting will end? I'm doubtful.

I would say that too if I weren't the person posting xD I have about 100+ tier III and IV materia, along with a set of gear for every job (ALC/BTN included), some relevant crafting/gathering mats, food, and DARK MATTER

:c materia tab would be appreciated, as would the event storage NPC

Give it up Apple. You don't know anything to a certainty -- only deriving your 'facts' from my suspicions. You sure are scraping the bottom of the barrel to dislike someone simply because they have knowledge about themselves that's really none of your business in the first place.

omg, this thread is awesome.

people follow yoshi like sheep and praise his every move. he makes a move someone doesn't like and it gets thrown up that it's tanaka's fault. this is not tanaka's fault and honestly i don't believe alot of the issues are yoshi's fault right now. my personal opinion on the game right now is that the man above them was the cause of the problems in this game atm. i could be wrong and i freely admit that, but i feel most of the decisions being made are coming directly from wada and both yoshi and tanaka before him are just doing his bidding.

i don't think any producer in their right mind would have released the game in the shape it was in on release unless it was forced from higher up. i also don't think the changes that have been made to mages would have been made by anyone that claims to have played as a mage in the past. these things would have never made it through the q&a session no more than they made it through the beta forums with that feedback. these all seem as though someone above them is forcing things out and bypassing the q&a groups completely.

yoshi may be the name that states he is the head, but i really don't think alot of these ideas and additions are from him at all. yes, i know this sounds really strange for me to be taking up for yoshi, but i really don't think he's been given an option on alot that has been done.

Great post, however do you really think Wada has any effect on mages? No, I hold Yoshi-P responsible for that.
