Yeah, but none of the clues lead you to that zone. The map doesn't even work in that zone. The only way to know is to ask for enough hints to be told where to go or to google it.
This is my biggest gripe right here. The 1st quest NPC is right there in the zone with the 1st map; and the 2nd one makes no indication otherwise; you can't even open the spriggan map outside of that zone. The 1st map's NPC is at least somewhat prominent; she even has a Triple Triad card IIRC. The 2nd one is so inconspicuous and forgettable that I don't even remember whatever quest he was involved in since ARR. I literally ran all around Old Gridania looking for an NPC with that name only to find out it's an NPC not even in the zone, let alone city.
Yea, I couldn't figure out what they were trying to say on the 2nd one, 1st one was no problem but the 2nd was pure Riddler stuff and I'm no Batman. Soo.... I asked for help and they said who it was and where... I still got lost, didn't know about the building... Yes I know I talked to him but it was like 5 years ago. Thankfully the community helped and got me to the finish. First one was fun but the second was a bit too steep of a difficulty curve. This is my biggest gripe right here. I liked the riddles and I was able to figure out how to use the map, but the fact that you can't open more than one at the same time totally ruined it IMO.
I could have taken screenshots and marked the location of the spriggan...or I could have just kept talking to Jhili until she finally does that for you. Would have been much better if you could just open your area map and the riddle map at the same time.
The first puzzle I got without issue, but the second one I literally had zero clue even after I had the NPC “solve” it for me. I think maybe I just wasn’t actually paying enough attention at that point because I don’t remember actually being given a name, just how I was supposed to get the name, which I didn’t even recognize that’s what she was saying lol. I honestly just wanted the outfit, which I think is super cute, and wasn’t too fussed about doing things on my own, so I ended up googling for the answer. After being given the answer I finally understood what the NPC was talking about, and how you were supposed to come to that conclusion, but I doubt I ever would have gotten it on my own tbh.

Only the Spriggan-race would put us through this level of hades.
But it's fun... i mean i love the naps i require after all the work.

I didn't mind the first riddle but the second one was a bit much all things considered, even with the big area hint if you exhaust the clues available. The first riddle I felt good for having solved, simple though it was, the second one I just stared blankly when I found out the answer and didn't feel any sense of loss of accomplishment for having to look it up. It was a bit /too/ obscure and felt less like a proper riddle and more like 'hey did you remember this REALLY obscure NPC you likely haven't talked to in four years??'
Still it could have been worse. But the fact they had to off-handedly tell us the area to go to in the hints, rather than have the riddle lead up to it on it's own is pretty telling of how badly structured the second one was.
I'd also just like to point out one additional point of irony with this quest. In Gridania. Home of the wildwood elezens. And this jacket just looks a little bit absolutely hideous on us. Big wide open neck line to accentuate our most awkward proportions. Even worse than the starter BLU outfit.
But otherwise, yeah. As pointed out, it's been so many years since I churned through those early game side quests, so long that I had forgotten that building had an interior. The name, once I got it, I probably could've found well enough on my own; it did ring some faint bells, and I know there are a few names like that with spires and such out in the Shroud. But the bigger problem was, most elezen names, I just sorta mentally hear [first syllable]blahblahblah. Sorry, lads, but I'm just going to forget all of you anyway, so I don't really want to spend much time thinking about how to pronounce your frou frou name.
