I love the chest piece.......... but those spriggan ears literally ruin it for me. They remind me of Bahamut buttwings. Really wish you could /visor the hood on or remove the ears entirely. I love the sleeves and the hem.

Agreed on the ears. Even just from seeing screenshots, I felt like the costume would look better without it - and now having just run the quest with my male Au Ra alt... I haven't seen what it's like on other races, but it is absolutely ridiculous in conjunction with their exaggerated run. The ears fling out horizontally with every step.


And unfortunately /visor isn't going to do anything, because it's not headgear. I really wish they'd made a similar toggle effect that would change the appearance of some body gear pieces though, because it would have huge potential for customisation. Imagine being able to toggle off WHM 70's fan collar, or turn off the skirt section of two-part body gear like the Thavnairian sets!

The ear wiggle is so ridiculous I've embraced it and now find delight in doing the Hildibrand Mambo with the jacket.

At first I was disappointed that the male version has long pants compared to the female version, but I like how the Uraeus Skirt matches better than either of the official pants do so it's all good. Absolutely love the top, I only wish I could toggle the hood up for extra ear waggle.

It was fun trying to piece the map together with my friend but I'm glad they basically put the answer in-game behind gradual clues. It's a good solution for both people who need help and to deter people from asking/giving answers in chat (which I actually didn't see anyone spoiling solutions - I'm impressed and grateful!)

Personally didn’t like this event. I had the answers but I had to go through all the hints to get the NPC’s location “Would you like Jhili to basically solve the puzzle for you you special person?” F*** you SE, sorry I don’t have every damn NPC in the black shroud region memorised!

Like, OMG, I just totally love the top! I have like 7-8 of them in multiple colors in the glamour dresser right now, and it's starting to look like my closet XD

Well the name of the NPC is on the central shroud map, so it was not too hard to find. Here I really liked it, I know that I already said it, but it's more fun than just doing a fate many times ^^ So I hope that we'll get more events like this in the future. Also the reward was nice, it's not the case for every events, I know they can't release a new set/mount every years, but some events clearly have better rewards, and this one was a good one. The next one will be a good one too with the 4 man mount - even if I don't really like the fact that they bring a car to XIV, but they already did Cloud's bike.

You must not've done the Moogle Sidequests in the Churning Mists, then... this is literally nothing compared to those annoying quests.

As for the quests, I'm with everyone saying they wish you could open the original map and the event map(s) at the same time. Would've been even better, SE, if you updated the event map with the Spriggan's Number when you find them. ESPECIALLY since it seems like they all seem to be the same maps for everyone across servers. And Mr So-Sidequest-Anyone-Not-Freshly-Done-The-Quests-To-Find-Him-Outside-Of-The-Event-Zone... if people are going to be trying to solve this riddle without Jihli's help they NEED to be able to figure this out without having to dredge up (possibly) ancient memories of this guy. I was one of those that had to look him up to know where the hell he was.
