I'd be very happy if Viera men looked like that. Classically handsome and somewhat beefy, yet not overly so? Sign me up!
It helps that they actually look imposing enough to match their reputation as fierce defenders of the forest.

I wouldn't exactly say no to that either. Though hopefully not looking like he does in Conan Exiles, maybe more classically handsome, (most depictions of him looks like he has abit of neanderthal DNA goin on) plus square could never get away with the level of nudity in that game!
Less beef too, Maybe more of a swimmers, rowers or figure skaters build! Lean! You know like in the artwork I posted!
Though I do like the Castlevania anime vibe the other art work has too!
Everyone wants butt sliders but imagine getting those types of sliders like in Conan exiles and Saints Row! haha!

You guys really shouldn't post on the JP thread, leaving a like is fine but let them organically have conversations, spamming or inserting yourself into a conversation without any other context than to post an image isn't a good look and can be confrontational. Also I get stating your opinion and disagreeing but there hasn't even been confirmation about whether male viera would be added or not. There's little reason to get bent out of shape if someone posts pictures or makes content for a design you do not like as long as they aren't breaking ToS, it just comes off as you not wanting anything added unless it's pin point to what you desire which ACTUALLY seems entitled.
Let the devs figure out whether they want to add it in and how it will look, talking about what you'd like is fine but there's no reason to have an entire episode about how disappointed you are that someone drew a short or tall or beefy or not traditionally handsome male viera, and how you'd rather it not be added now.
Practice some civility.

So, it's been over a week. This means a couple things.
1) Yoshi-P has been briefed on the top thread of the week, which is this.
2-A) Yoshi-P and his team are busy forming a response, one that is either confirmation of genderlock removal (seems unlikely) or at least that they hear us and are considering (more likely).
OR
2-B) Yoshi-P and his team have decided to ignore it hoping things will die down, so they can relegate Male Viera to the trashcan.
I think 2-B is much more likely, simply because reversing the decision would make Yoshi-P's team look bad, internally. It'd be admitting to their superiors that they made a really bad decision (which they did) in not implementing both genders.
It's important then to keep up the noise until there is a response. Do not let the noise die down. Keep bringing it up until there is some kind of response which lets the base know that decisions are being changed. If they do announce that they are reviewing the situation, it's important not to quiet down. MMOs want long-term customers more than anything, and so they want to keep people happy.
Aye! instead of arguing among ourselves about the design of a thing that hasn't even been confirmed! So, it's been over a week. This means a couple things.

We have to stay loud! Stay polite but loud! We have to keep their feet in the fire so they have to respond!
