Genderlock reminder to SE

Yeah, I find it funny when people say "see, a majority agree with me. I have a poll! See! See!"

What they don't understand besides the fact that self-select polls are statistically worthless is that yay, they got a whole 5,000 people to vote. In a population of 5,000,000 +. That's a whopping 0.1% of the population.

The important thing to compare it to is how most topics are treated here. When you compare the level of interest in the Viera/Hrothgar threads to any other here, you can see a more significant number of people are involved. A lot of people joined the forums just to show their support for removing the genderlock. Trying to apply statistics to it all is pointless, but it is obvious a good number of people care.

I'm optimistic about it since SE specifically said they were looking for feedback on this. And there are way more voices asking for the genderlocks to be removed than there are supporting them.

Love it how so many peopel who don't want male viera and female hrotgar are being extremely toxic while the ppl who actually want it aren't.
Anyways, seems that everyone made like 7 repleisin this forums saying aww no we dotn need genderlock removal, yet my OP post which lots of u seem to sepise si the most liked one.

I don't know how having a discussion and being in disagreement with someone can be "toxic". I apologize this is not a hug box thing, people have different opinions and if you don't like them... welp, may as well don't join or start a discussion. But here we are, OP being passive aggressive.

Heck, I even remember in Pagos, people were arguing about something and there was a dude calling that "toxic". I really don't know what they define as "toxic" anymore. They just throw the stone and run away.

I don't want to step on your Toe, but as far as i saw it over the last Week, the Pro male Viera - female Hrothgar People are more offensive and/or toxic than the People who are against it... not everybody, but a great part of them.

That's wrong honestly, I've seen more people off the forums call anyone against genderlocks multiple slurs, homophobic, racial and even transphobic. Also if you look at the actual male viera thread a lot of those posts are just people showing support, there are bad eggs but they are not the greater majority if you ask me. Even when people purposefully come into the thread for the sake of agitating responses.

The people who make this about a political statement are not a majority, two of those posters don't even post anymore after being told by both sides they were being ridiculous.

I want to make this thread to remind SE that a majority of their playerbase wants genderlock to be removed as soon as possible, and I want to use this thread to keep reminding them about it. Please SE, just make an official response soon. It's getting quite annoying to have to wait so much for you to say that we will get genderlock lifted

Are you sure about that? Where did you get that kind of numbers? Do you know how many active subscriptions they have currently? Do you know what percentage of people read the forum?

If you know that kind of information, please let me know where did you get that information, I would like to check your sources.

The only fact at play here is that SE budgeted time and resources for two genders and decided to split them between two races instead of developing one. Lore is not a fact, it's a storytelling tool that's quite malleable in the hands of its creators. Many players here believe the story would be way more interesting if we finally got to see and play these elusive counterparts.

For them to remain a mystery forever is actually quite boring.

Why don't you guys go harass the people who have been asking for the hempen panty sets be unlocked for the different races for years? That breaks the lore too. :v A hyur isn't going to want to wear the same style panties as an elezen. Their cultures are completely different.
