That's caring. Right there. People who really don't care have no preference either way. You don't have to care about the genderlock necessarily because of a political or moral stance, or because of spite, or because of anything. You can also care about the genderlock because you worry about the possible implications of removing it.
And if you speak out despite not really caring, you're trolling.
Well I care... obviously. I'm sure you've seen the number of posts I've made to that effect. That's caring. Right there. People who really don't care have no preference either way. Edit: I'm also legitimately surprised this thread is still going.
I know. Which is why this post:
isn't about you. To the point your response to it kind of missed the point, sorry to say. This is the sentiment that I don't understand. If you don't care, why are you advocating one way vs. the other? If you truly couldn't care less, you wouldn't be encouraging them to maintain the status quo. You wouldn't be advocating either way. Seems like petty spite to me.
Then I'm actually confused at this point. I thought the person who said "they didn't have to care" etc... was able to do so and then have a preference as to what they would or would not like added later... I was reading it as I am unaffected by them not being added but have now decided that I would rather they not happen in the future due to reason X.
Which is a long way around to say I thought we were talking about caring previously rather than caring in the future (I quantify what they said as caring about the future rather than the present).
Hopefully this clears things up?

I would characterize the people who say they "don't care" about individual genders being created for each race, as simply not having a problem that they were't created in the first place. Personally speaking, I "don't care" because this is their creative work, not mine. People can, and do, ask for things that aren't in the game all the time. I just don't see why people have to act like SE is being a sexist bigot instead of just asking for it - like they would ask for anything else to be in game. However, it feels like it's escalated into some sort of SJW crusade for equal gender representation because of this, and that's why responses to the matter between the community have been tense. People are operating under a different set of assumptions.
