Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

Sexual dimorphism can be turned on its head without making the male viera disgustingly shota, simply having them be shorter in general would do that! It'd be nice to see simply because its breaking the norm of character design. Even in a way that mirrors irl rabbits - which I had no idea that male bunnies were smaller!

Of course, if it's done correctly. It wasn't done correctly with Au'ra. This is why I'm confused why some folks want it to be on the same level as the Au'ra.

As an add on; every race should have those outliners - that's why I wish to step away from dimorphism and strict heights in regards to the other races - barring lalas - to have a wider scale in regards to their heights. Sadly it's more than likely not possible, but one can be wishful in an update in the character creator to allow this.

There are a lot of players, like myself, who prefer only to play one sex or the other, and restricting the new races to only one sex each excludes a lot of us from these new additions to the game.

While i never want to see 9s, Sora, or Lyn levels of character deign i am not all together against a more effeminate option for male Viera. A slight height reduction and i feel Akechi Mitsuhide of Sengoku Basara would fit the bill nicely.

When taking feedback it should be considered that the people with unknown preferences that asked for male viera (and probably are expecting the ones in the concept art that were shown alongside the current females to be implemented) outnumber by far the more active users asking for shorter male viera, a version that has not even been mentioned in any official statement, lore or concept art (feol aren't full viera and they are not shorter than females, they are not even short, just shorter ears, and blonde hair by lore).

Besides, a short male with animal features is something we already have with male miqos, and doing this to give the au'ra a counterpath it's absurd because the au'ra sexual dysmorphism wasn't even a good idea to start with, and again would only lead to a miqote body type, nothing new, and if they are even shorter than male miqotes, we can't even call them viera...

On the other hand, i'm ok with an slider that goes under females min height but can get up to atleast the same max height as them, adding options is ok, limiting them is bad, that's the whole point of this campaign in favor of male viera and female hrothgar.

Also, i'm ok with a different body type like the ones in the OP, just not limited to be shorter than females.

Okay erm, first off calm down.
Second of, what people mod, and do in their private housing can't really be regulated, sadly. Am i excusing the practice? No, but It's also irrelevant to the topic of this thread.
So why even bother embarrassing the thread by assuming people who want male Viera exclusively want it for such purposes, you don't appear to have an issue with the female variant of that same race literally wearing lingerie as starter gear.
In fact, the armor in this MMO is incredibly conservative compared to any other MMO out there on the market right now, as is the fanservice of the male races.
So what exactly is the issue with a literal male with bunny ears, like seriously, its a previously established race in the FF history, and this is a FF themepark.

Because we all know that's the purpose - Viera is a female-only race made by Akihiko Yoshida for FFXII - I wouldn't even want the race itself in this game because it could easily be mistaken for a lewd-one while it's totally the opposite as Yoshida is the best designer in Square-Enix (not even, he's freelancer since a while) together with Amano.

I am against every form of glamour, vanity and contents made for the social as like I've said already, this is an MMORPG, not The Sims. There are sites made on purpose where those eager to intense ERP sessions can waste their time into, just stay away from this game for god sake, glad Yoshi-P didn't even consider male Viera and bless him for dealing daily with this luckily small (not even anymore) but noisy part of community.

Again, stop embarassing SE designers with those requests.

Wooo buddy, are you playing the WRONG MMORPG then. Y'know SE does entire events and has an entire cash shop dedicated to glamour and vanity content, right? Like, FFXIV is, hands down, the most glamour/RP focused AAA MMORPG on the market.
