Humans with rabbit ears.. Zzzzzzzz.. Give me something different, like a big feral rabbit beast that runs around on four legs.

I actually think this is the best scenario we could have had, and I’ll explain why.
Adding races is extremely taxing on the dev team, I’m not going to explain why that is again, but it is and that’s a fact.
If we had only got Viera, male and female, then there’s almost no chance we would ever get another race, so we’d never get Hrothgar.
The same vis versa, they could have just given us Hrothgar…
However, by giving us one of each, they’ve not only given us greater variety between them now, but kindled a greater and more valid demand for their gender counterparts, making it more likely that they’ll be inclined to push their resources to make them happen at some point down the line.
In an effort to try and please more people with what they thought was their ‘last race’, they’ve actually put themselves in a position where they’re more likely to cave to demands to unlock the other genders.
So yeah, keep up the support for male Viera/female Hrothgar.
I could imagine that Yoshi's masterplan was to cause such an outcry that even Square Enix gets shocked and higher ups actually invest more money into FFXIV.I actually think this is the best scenario we could have had, and I’ll explain why.

Looks like step 1 is working. :'D
The warrior of light is an exceptional character breaking standard boundaries constantly, male Viera should not be outside of this scope and should be playable.
I'd really like male Viera so I can create FFXIV version of my pet rabbit C:
I don't mind waiting until 6.0 too~
hello! ╰(*´︶`*)╯
over 100 pages and they say ppl dont care
Some of these pages can be deleted due to fightings and off-topics, but yes, still, it's a huge thread. Not to mention 1300+ likes on main post. People can tell that's this is a "vocal minority", but the reality is that the forum is a minority itself since I'm not sure that even 25% of playerbase use it at all, so we can't really say how many people are worrying about the situation. There is not so much threads that are 100+ pages and I can't tell if any of them became so just in three days. Same for amount of likes - I can't even remember if I ever saw such amount here.
Some people say that those who ask for male vieras and female hrothgars are just "vocal minority". Which is, as we can see, most likely is not so - not all players use OF.

I support this thread! And I signed this too!
