If you go watch missteqs video with her interviewing yoshi p she asks if we would ever get anymore customizing involving the races and he said that if it affected the head shape I or the body in anyway it would be difficult because they would have to re adjust every single outfit and he said it would just be easier to create a new race instead of doing that.

I think it’s optimistic to even think this relates to the missing genders, let alone further new races or variety in body types within races.

To me it seems to be a case of trying to have things ready if they want to add things, since it costs little to do that. I’d like for it to be a sign if greater things, of course, but given how limited the scope of this is, it doesn’t fundamentally change much.

Anyways, new customizations seem more likely than a third clan imo. Specially if the third clan is not really much different physically. In Mizzteq's interview Yoshi pretty much said fatqo'tes aren't happening unless they're a hypothetical new race altogether.

Oh ok, so I think that means that we aren't getting fatqo'tes sadly qwq. I think for thrid clan they could even swap body models (give viera bodies to elezens, fem roe model to fem au ra and things like that)

The interview where he mentions likely only getting female viera and another different male race happened around heavensward (someone correct me if I'm wrong or link it if you have it). This could no longer be valid since the Producer letter where he states they'll look into it if they can get past current issues they are facing. That letter made things more hopeful than what they were previously, but I originally didn't understand the uproar of not getting male viera when he'd mentioned their plans a long while back. Not to mention the Blufever leaks which explained that there would be female viera and a male lion like race.

Still see no demeaning posts but you are right lets drop it. I just hope that more people just stay on topic and not just come in here like some do to attack specific posters.

Well I might not have read every interview after Heavensward either but the only thing I know about Vieras was their concept art and that Yoshida found male Vieras to be weird, which could have been said before the artwork because those show both genders. And current ones talk more about getting both genders if we are getting them. (Which I hope we do)

I don't see how it should take too much work to add it later. I (wishfully obivously) think that this could mean they already planned male viera and lion queen, considering they did say that by the end of June they needed to have plans for their next expansion and the next 2 years in general ready
