Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

Popping in to add my +1 for male Viera/female Hrothgar. The lore shouldn't come over players' enjoyment, not when we already have stuff like a Nier raid, a car mount, rathalos, yokai watch stuff, all implemented or coming soon, that prove lore can be bent for the sake of fun! We got Miqo'te male, Roegadyn female, and Highlander female in 2.0, please consider removing the gender lock on these new races in the future, too.

There's only supposed to be one WoL anyway and nothing that implies they can't be from some rare tribe. Gameplay has to be suspended from lore or nothing makes any sense, the lore reason is a lazy cop-out, even female vieras running around breaks the supposed lore.

I was really holding out hope for male viera in particular and the general gender locking is just awful. Certainly kills my drive to get the CE and after the crappy way FFXV was handled Final Fantasy in general is looking bleak as hell.

I mean..Yoshi-P can feel however the hell he wants about attractive male avatars outside the scope of straight dudes but the playerbase who wants them shouldnt have to suffer for that fragile tosh. Get a therapist for your hangups Yoshi and give us male Viera (and female Hrothgar)!
