You're missing the point, a lot of us WANT to keep playing, in fact I want to pay... Just not with the super lame options we're being given (ScamAndBuy, Crysta).

Doesn't FFXI have Paypal now? Why can't we have Paypal?

Check if your Crysta can be bought with UltimatePay in your country, if it can, then there is your Paypal, but if you cant use Ultimate Pay then yes, its sad story and you are out of luck.
