SE, Why charge money if you do NOT have the means to accept it??!

I really don't get the point of the Crysta system, unless i missed something? If you use crysta, you still have to use a credit card to buy it....through click and buy. So what's the point? It's just an extra step as opposed to letting click and buy charge your card directly. If crysta was purchasable on cards anywhere, like xbox or ps points or w/e are (maybe they are? but i haven't seen anywhere), then maybe it would have some use.

Right now Crysta just seems like another of SE's proprietary failures that they hope will be expanded in the future, like lolPlayOnline.

Crysta was a universal currency they used for shops and etc along side real money, they extended it to SE account system. Playonline was created as a portal for the PS2 to log into multiple MMOs they've ran as well as a strategy and hint thing, so it wasn't "failed". it just had 100x more usefulness in Japan than it did in America/Europe which only had FFXI and Tetra Master.

Also Crysta is 1:1 purchasable in places that support Paypal/ultimate pay and the Crysta system (SE has no bearing on Paypal/Ultimate pay support, that's a separate company.)
