SE, Why charge money if you do NOT have the means to accept it??!

So let me get this strait:
1- You keep changing the game in ways that is best described as "controversial"
2- You know that you are still adjusting the game and that it has many issues not the least are the server performance
3- You released a patch that , imho, stripped the essence of what made each class fun so you can introduce them back later with the "new" jobs; and it's a patch that is severely lacking in content
4- You will start charge people by 5th of Jan even though this drove population to the bottom

So, with the little players left that want to support you,
-Did you make payment easier?
-Did you introduce other payment method to US AND non-US players?
-Why, after a year later, do some regions are still stuck with Click and Buy and cant pay via direct CC or crysta? I remember one guy posted that his only means of payment is Click and buy and when he tries to pay with it he get an error that states the option is not available to his country!!

- Even buying crysat through the useless ultimate pay is a hassle. I personally am facing problems buying crysta through UP via Paypal or direct CC payment but couldn't. I've posted on forum (with no replies whatsoever) and contacted SE support with no avail.

Are you that oblivion to the fact that not so few people are on the fence already and problems like the above could might as will push them overboard?


I just hope these issues get resolved will before Jan with proper announcement or FFXIV will suffer another major hit to population and in return even less income for SE.

It's pretty obvious English is his second language. His emphasis on payment for non-US players is a pretty good indicator.

I think the issue is the first time we logged into XIV post 1.20, the game launcher was asking us to pay. The huge problem here is why would you ask us in the in-game launcher to set up our sub if your billing system isn't properly ready to be easy to use and accessible to as many players as possible to allow us to easily give you the money you want?

Actually, what really had to be done when that window popped up was to not allow your account to be deactivated, not really set up payment options. English is also my second language; it is no excuse.

I don't think they should start charging until this patch and in addition have a direct payment to SE instead of having to go through the hassle of UP and C&B.

I was wanting to see how the new jobs would work before I gave them money. Maybe the jobs system would give me my enfeebles back for mob control? Would like to know...

It's my second major language as well.

Also:

Please note that we are working to implement additional payment options around the commencement of billing in early January.

So if there's still complaints even though there will be additional ways to pay for it when you actually have to begin paying and can easily switch your ways to pay (I swaped from direct CC to Crysta quite easily, actually)..I don't know what to say.
