I just don't see it. Roegadyn aren't even remotely similar to Pantera. I'd be very happy if FFXIV were to get a race similar to them, though. They're exactly what I wish Miqo'te could be.

There's some similarities but mostly in the faces. Otherwise yeah, they're 2 completely different races. I would also love to see something like that though. If the Ronso rumor holds true (which would be as close to Pantera as this game would get) I may be switching races again depending on how they're built. Not because of Pantera though, I've never played Bless. I just like the idea of a lion-esque race.

I wish this whole "devs are ignoring us" mentality would die. Obviously you're getting plenty from the game or you wouldn't play it so obviously they're not ignoring everyone. If you don't get male Viera it was just one thing they decided to do. It happens all the time. Like I personally don't care for getting a new tank or healer but it's happening. The devs are still listening.

Do you expect me to not hold them accountable when they screw up something like this? If my concerns on something as big as this are ignored or if they continue to play coy then that is grounds for me to not cooperate either. Right now it really does appear they’re off in lalaland because so far they haven’t even addressed the backlash from Blue Mage and BA and have gone in articles to call them successes. You cannot let them continue to go off into their echo chamber or else there’s no way to get anything to improve.

Instead what it's devolved into is entitlement and over the top drama as more and more revelations are revealed that hey, maybe male Viera aren't coming. Considering you've been vocal on other things the dev team has done such as the blue mage thread, yet you're still playing, makes me think that none of these issues are as devastating to you as you make them out to be. Also he literally addressed BA yesterday. So the fact that you don't know that shows me that you are oblivious to what they're actually doing and entrenched in your views.

Lol, no. They're not entitled to everything they want, that's asinine. They're entitled to whatever Yoshi wants to put in this game. Anyway, we will see what you do come March. I have a feeling we will see you continue to post for awhile afterwards. To keep this relevant to the topic, to anyone else who feels entitled to male Viera, you're not. If they don't come with 5.0 they might come in the future? Maybe? But I think it'll be awhile kind of like with the male bunny suit debacle.

This thread is huge by EN forum standards when you consider the only posts on the 1st page that have more responses are generally the screenshot dump threads. If we make a second one the same people would eventually roll in and argue the same points. Might as well see how big and loud this one can get.

I mean at the point that you're saying petitions are meaningless, threads in general are meaningless. This thread has a lot of pages, sure. But I would argue a lot of the posts either are for the supposed implementation of a different race or are neutral. And really, it's the same... some amount of people that are posting.
