Give me what I want=I give them moneyThat's also a hyperbole--I know I started it but let's end it there hm? Of course the lore argument works. What kind of attitude is that? I know we live in the age of near psychotic personal entitlement but you are ultimately enjoying someone else's brainchild. Influencing decision is one thing but making outright demands/threats like in this thread is pretty sick honestly. Sure as hell ain't the way to get through to them either.
Give me something I didn't ask for instead of the thing I wanted=No money

Would be the ideal world if we could get everything we wanted now wouldn't it? Though you wouldn't admit it for sake of "winning" the argument I am pretty sure the devs have given you plenty stuff you wanted already. Tl:dr grow up.
Of course they have actually. They've given us cat boys and lots of nice costumes but now my support depends on whether or not they add male Viera and dancer. Otherwise, I'll go play something else.
Presumably even if people don't get what they want there's at least one other existing option that they find agreeable. If Hrothgar aren't added or they aren't to my personal tastes then I'll continue to stick with playing a Midlander. Potentially a Highlander to shake things up a bit.
Well, let's put your little standard to a test. If I go back and change the statementSo you're saying there's no difference between saying someone definitely did something, and saying someone probably did something?
I'm really starting to feel like delusional was the correct choice of words. I had typed more but I'm honestly done with this conversation, I've wasted enough time on it.
I will wait and see what happens in march, and I will probably have a good chuckle if male viera don't happen now.
Gender-locked races definitely damaged the 1.0 version of the game enough that one of the first things Yoshida did after taking over the project was remove them. Or have you forgotten that?

Gender-locked races probably damaged the 1.0 version of the game significantly. After all, that one of the first things Yoshida did after taking over the project was remove them. Or have you forgotten that?
Does the addition of the word probably change what I am saying, or what I am thinking, when I made that statement; yes or no?
It doesn't change what you mean, but it dose change what you know. One implies you know for a fact that it damaged 1.0, the other implies you think it did, your meaning can and dose stay the same but that one change makes a massive difference.Well, let's put your little standard to a test. I think he killed a man, I know he killed a man, in both instances you think he killed him, but one of them 100% makes him the killer, the other dose not.
I would not have played version 1.0 with its gender locked races. My brief time in FFXI also kinda sucked because I wanted to play a male mithra there too, but was stuck playing as a boring Hume.It doesn't change what you mean, but it dose change what you know. I mean he hasn't done anything, I calls it as I sees it. Nor do I think it is particularly rude to refer to him with the personality traits he quite blatantly exudes.
It's nice that you gave us [things]
but we also want [things]
Give us [things] or we tantrum
Don't you see how ridiculous it is? If you can't I feel genuinely sorry for you.
It's the internet, of course it's bound to come down to name-calling. I do agree that it only fans the flames instead of actually progressing rational and logical discussion, but hey, who needs that? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Provocation isn't going to make things better.
While viewpoints may differ and end on on different ends of the spectrum, people should remain calm and not jump the gun. This goes for both sides of the debate.
