Why are we still discussing this thread? This thread is pretty much trolling or bait. There is nothing substantive to be gleaned from this thread other than over broad statements about sections of the player base or aspersions of toxicity formulated on opinions and generalizations.

Recommendation: Let the thread die. Its bait and people are getting into a debate over a non-troversy drummed up by someone whom I personally assume started this out of amusement than any real desire to have a discussion.

No where in the guidelines does it say they're going after streamers. We need an ff14 equivilant to asmongolds WoW streams lol. Someone with a large follower base who would just laugh at the ridiculousness of this thread, proceed to look up this guys profile and explain exactly how it relates to why he would make a type of post like this followed by laughing about it.......just sayin'

Well, I agree with you. But, while FFLogs doesn't interact with with the game in any way, it lives from data extracted with the use of a 3rd party tool that does interact with FFXIV client. And there are this rule:

Square Enix strictly prohibits the use of third-party programs or tools – including programs and tools that permit automated or “absentee” play – in Final Fantasy XIV. Accordingly, the following activities are prohibited:

- Modifying, analysing, integrating, and/or reverse engineering game software or data.
- Creating, distributing, using, or promoting utilities that interact with the game.

While this was written to make easier to ban botters, it sounds me that ACT is forbidden. There isn't any warranty that GM's will continue turning a blind eye to parsing.
