Gender locked race?

I hope so. Eventually it would be amazing if we could get a bestial race like Lupin or Ronso but now is not the time nor the place.

I mean if we could have two whole races with both genders... then now is fine, I'd take now.. lol. I just really like Ronso cause they've got it all, they are really a chimera of beast races. Claws, tail, horn, fur, manes, feet (viera like), ears, animations - the whole package of beast lol. Or imo a better looking Charr, although I think Charr are neat too.


Someone purge the Rev though, I'm okay with that. Viera Male made it out of the forest fire but Rev went extinct lol.

The very first leak he mentions a new race, and 5 months later he talks about a 2. race... Something seems foul to me...

Not at all really.
Seems like blufever was a westerner working on translations or some such so they would know a great deal ahead of time but not everything at the earliest possible time.

Anyway, everything they have leaked has been correct so far or later found out through interviews to have been changed or moved around as they were being worked on. The only thing that's left is dancer and 2nd new race that's hinted to be lion like.

I personally have no real reason to doubt it at this point.

But that's me. Bunnies being gender locked doesn't matter to me one bit, making up a male lion race as the counterpart doesn't bother me either. I just think its a terrible decision if that's the case ... Cause then, until 6.0, people are gonna be demanding the to unlock both for fairness.

Idk what to expect anymore. Male buns and a non gender locked lion race? The buns sub race being like humans where they're basically 2 different races and one looks lion like? Just 2 new while races? Why not? Apparently they're willing to pump tons of time and resources into a job people drop a week after hittong max.

What about the others who pay who don't want to see it? Since you basically stated the product people pay for so should they get what they are paying for which is not having it?

Of course not you won't agree to this because you believe you are entitled to something, you pay the subscription to play the game which stuff they provide for is not for you to decide but them alone, threatening is the wrong way to do it.

Not trying to sound harsh but you have to think of others needs not just the needs you want this is why SE has a hard time picking but forcing their hand is very jacked up thing to do to them.

Maybe you don't know how buying games works but if a game is lacking in something that I really want then I don't spend money on it. When people like me who have invested as much time into FFXIV as I have, throwing us a curveball on Viera would hurt deeply. So yeah put both genders of Viera into the game or I won't spend any money on fantasia, might put my subscription on pause, and hold off on buying Shadowbringers unless I feel like I'm getting what I want for my money.

Won't you think of the poor devs? These mean customers keep expecting the devs to finish features in the game they're wanting us to spend money on! D: Asking the largest growing mmo, looking for mass appeal, to be inclusive is just too much!

While is it possible they will gender lock Viera it is very unlikely. I honestly can't see them doing that with the effort to remove the gender lock from Miqo'te and Roegadyn. only 1 way I could imagine them doing it is by bringing in a male only race. I think we should wait till the Tokyo Fan festival.

Is Fully playable Viera crowd > Gender locked Viera crowd or is it the other way round? People on the fence or don't care either way will remain there so How would you convince them to be pro gender lock Viera?
And for argument's sake for fully playable Viera i would use what harm does it cause? as much harm as when male miqo'te, female Roedagyn and female Highlander were added which was praised for doing, Male Viera have never been depicted in a game before it would be something completely unique with ffxiv's version of Viera, They limited Blue mage if they gender lock Viera and we allow it to stay that way they could decide gender locking jobs is a good idea which i don't think a lot of people in ffxiv could want

Does that include BLU as starting-at-Lv60 melee support DPS? Because that made me conclude a separate supposed-leak was fake, only to finally read the original BluFever leaks the other day and discover the same claim was in there.
