Gender locked race?

This just popped up on Reddit. No idea if they're real or not, so grain of salt and that stuff, but now there's something weird going on.

This is big if true since it lists all the playable races (Viera included) with one name we haven't heard before.

For those wondering what the image is saying, because I was silly and had to look it up to get it (it's not that complicated once you get it though..)

Simply the npc glitched out and calls the player by all races listed under the player race data piece, like au'ra, miqote, hyur... viera.... and then there is one more. . . . . .


? Also keep in mind it could be a good photoshop, just in case lol.

The name also sounds like a particularly cold name, like... brr.. a planet might have the similar name as it, or a snowy place in skyrim.. or after a king whose story takes place in a cold region.

Was vague because I feel SE has already been generous to let us use their space to talk about things like this lol, I wanted to make clean up easier if they choose this is too much. Thanks SE <3

The name is based on a danish King so you are right. I smell Ronsos.

What the hell is hroathgar

Too bad the character was not male, it would have confirmed male vieras. Female hrotghar seem to be a thing tho so no gender locked race

Oh great not only do the cat people exist but their name is unpronounceable. A ray of light I do see though is that if this dialogue did trigger, especially with the bottom one saying "la Hrothgar" this means that females exist. That would be excellent news! Or it could be that the automatic command set up in the dialogue failed in all aspects and assigned a nonexistent pronoun after seeing how the player character is female. God help us all.

I hope you're right. It would be amazing if we could get 2 complete non-gender locked races in this expansion since it would please both sides of this debate. Did this person go back and try the same with a male character? Or there is a link anyone can share to where this screenshot originated?
