Yeah I didn't miss that, the post was edited while I was replying to it, but at any rate I was gonna run out and find pics of Hypertuned Grynewaht as well but Arkdra beat me to it. Dude is just a few more armor pieces away from being just what you described.

Right, that's what i meant by you missing it. I had added it after i finished my initial post, and you quoted before i had a chance to add it.
And no, he isn't. His aesthetic is entirely different than an Adeptus Astartes.. that's my point. You would not look at Grynewaht and say "that's a space marine", because he doesn't look like a space marine. So if you put an Adeptus Astartes with his boltgun and chainsword into XIV, it would look severely out of place because that's not the armour aesthetic that the Garleans use; hence why dropping the machines from Nier into XIV would make the entire thing look out of place and stand out like a sore thumb from other aesthetics.

Yeah.. imagine that one inconsequential voice line in a fight that was probably put in there by the English vocalization teams would be judged differently than half the end-game focus of an entire expansion?

And you're out of date. The Rip and Tear thematic has been embraced within Doom 2016, with that being one of the tag lines they use for the game; it has almost no connection to the comic in anyone's minds. Besides, they already used the words Rip and Tear in a quest about killing giant toads long before Grynewaht made the scene.

Either way though, agree to disagree i suppose. I'm not going to convince you, and you're not convincing me.. so we may as well stop the back and forth before one of us just gets angry.
