Gender locked race?

What is wrong with gender locked race in a “fantasy” world? People were fine with Mithra being female only and Galla being male only on FF11. Is this another social justice warrior thing?

Ummm they werent fine with them being gender locked which is why we now have kitty boys and femroes. A new gender locked race would be a step backwards.
